Hazy scratches on windscreen - advice pls.

My windscreen has a few hazy scratches on it now (looks like dust on the screen when the sun shines on it). They aren't deep as you can't really feel them with a fingernail but they are there and getting on my nerves.

Tried using my autoglym glass polish I've had kicking around in the garage but it didn't appear to do much good, thinking I need something a bit stronger, is there any products you can recommend?

needs electric mopping with glass cutting / polishing compound but be VERY careful with keeping the polish done evenly or you will end up with a fish bowl effect which will annoy you more than the scratches.

If you have comprehensive insurance, see if you cant get a stone chip and get it replaced.
