HBO Max add on to Amazon Prime?

Need some help please guys. I've got a few days left of another Amazon Prime 30 day free trial and would like to watch the 8 episodes of The Penguin. It isn't free on Prime but according to Google I can add a Max 7 day free trial to watch it.

Google: "While Max doesn't offer a standard free trial in the UK, you can access its content through other avenues. As of March 2025, you can get Max through a promotional offer with Amazon Prime, including a 7-day free trial."

Except I can't find Max to subscribe to on Amazon Prime anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I believe it's a variation of 'hbo max' so US customers only.

If you wanna watch the penguin best bet is some sort of nowtv trial.

Thanks. On my Amazon Fire TV Stick, when I clicked on an episode it prompted me to install Now TV. I'll go ahead and do that. I'm not sure if I'll have to pay to subscribe to Now TV or if it'll give me a free few days trial. Hopefully the latter!

I don't think there are any free trials at the moment, the best you'll get is the £6.99 offer though bear in mind with Now you need to pay extra Full HD and 4K quality.

Damn, figured there'd be a catch. I don't have a 4K tv though, just an old fashioned 1080p LG tv, but that's still Full HD so I don't think I'll bother.

Don't they do a free 7 day trial for new members (or is it for one of the silly addons they have)? If you've been with them in the past just use a different email address

I was going to sub for the last of us season 2, but I would really prefer to watch it in 4k or at least full HD, but the fact I need to pay for one of the boosts for that, sucks.

I think I will wait for it to come to disc providing it does and season 2 is good.

It seems only for reality tv shows, something called Hayu.
