Is there anyone else out there using the HD-160 case or any other zalman reciever with Vista 64 media center.
I've downloaded the newest driver revision from the zalman site which dont seem to work. The USB driver for the reciever installs but the IRtrans software fails to see the drivers. giveing the following Error
cant find ftd2xx.dll
Im guessing this hasnt allowed the driver to be properly installed (because of vista 64 driver protection??)
After doing some research i found the reciever is based on the D2XX drivers.
Which can be downloaded from elsewhere.
After trying the alternative drivers the remote has "limited" use if you press and hold any button for an extended period (upto a minuite) the button mostly functions as it should - obviously this is of little use.
I initially thought that the hd-160 case used a generic reciever like Microsofts own Media center remote (as the look and work pretty much exactly the same).
If anyone has any insight into what i should do (i've contacted Zalman - waiting on a response) I would appreciate any suggestions.
