HD 2900 XT driver issue?

I heard there are some major AA/AF issues with the current drivers. Are you experiencing this?

I think if you compare 0xAA to 4xAA, there should be a unusually large drop in performance.

slam it up full 24x AA then you loose fps but fps stays above 50-60 on most games at more than 16xAA ish, i run 8x tho its more than enough for me.

but once the new drivers are out to fix the AA the better so that people stop saying "haha the new ati card is rubbish because of the antialising performance drop".
But when your on a game, do you notice 10 fps difference to a GTX? when fps are allready sky high, or when your in game do you notice fps drop at all, awnser equals No, unless you check the fps every nano second

But fps is high at 1680x1050, it works like a dream :)

Where have you seen ATI confirming that it is a driver issue and saying a next driver release will fix this?

The fact that the first bug was with AA on source engine games where fps would drop rapidly,

not got any proof tho but its what iv read somewhere, btw sorry gotta nip out, cya laters

man this card runs Cool,

i dont see what the fuss is about with heat, my old 7800GTX used to idle at 38c and load at 82c,

This beast is twice as powerfull twice the speed, and idles at 41c and load after 5 hours of all sorts of games, never went over 67c..

On stock cooler.. :)

room temp of 22c btw,

sry my 3rd post in a row in my own thread,

i just re-ran 3dmark06 after a HDD defrag and newer drivers (rather than the ones on the HIS disk) and my score went from 10839 to 11143, exactly same clocks and everything, 304 points more from new drivers.. cant wait for ati's newest ones due any time now
