HD 3870 Problems

Hi

just updated the drivers to 8.1 and now have a white pixel in top right hand corner of the screen. Been on to ATI who just send automated replies. Anyone else having this pixel issue? Have a couple of 1950 pro cards and updated the driver as well to 8.1 and have the same problem on the second pc...

Any help appreciated.

Got same problem, but it's only on desktop so it doesn't really bother me. If you open windows etc it goes away.

Yes i have that problem aswell, i thought it was a virus at first lol, but i soon found out what it was when i closed Catalyst and the pixel dissapeared. Nothing to worry about it's only there on the desktop, and if you click on the show desktop, it goes away.

If you hide the ATI tray icon it should vanish and not come back,
Thats how i cured it for the moment.

go into catalyst control center > preferences and disable tray icon, then it will go

exactly what i did. hide the ati icon and that dot goes away.
