At the end of the day overall it WAS faster, sure drivers for both can improve on the scores.


Well of course it was, an overclocked 9800 GTX would be faster than a stock 4850.![]()

its all about price too. looks like the 9800gtx will be available for around £150. (oone place i know for sure it will be £149), that still isnt enough if the GTX+ is neck and neck with the 4850
Agreed if the 9800+ is coming into the 4870 price range then i am not sure about it,if the 9800+ was the same price as the 4850 fair enough
thats superb news considering i only spent £125 on it 
^I can tell you, the 4850 owns cod4... I play 8xAA 16xAF 1680x1050 max details and it runs like a dream.
Better have a beast of a gaming session tonight to say goodbye to my trusty x1600xt
