Since ive had my card ive had the annoying coil squeal. since then i have tried a higher wattage of psu, a 800W*typo*, which i borrowed from a friend but the squeal failed to disapear.
So ive learned to live with it, but recently during games instead of the usual constant high pitch whine, im now getting a stuttering whine that sounds like a card on its way out.
Should i RMA as im sure this isn't meant to happen...
Edit: yeh ive checked the fan and all seems fine, no clucmps of dust, not even something that might have fallen into it. its just the fact it stutters, sometimes i can notice it if im playing a game, it lags on the stutter, but its the whine that goes away and comes back quickly which all i can think of is that its the component whining is getting turned on and off very quickly or the frequency is changing whithout reason...
