HD 5870 GPU Temp #3

Does anyone know what temp this is? I've tried googling a little, but can't seem to find a definitive answer. My GPU core temps are under control (75c max in games) but GPU Temp #3 in GPU-Z gets to about 100c. Not sure if this is safe/normal or not.

The card (which is reference, by the way) is at 960 core/1250 mem with 1.200v.

All three temps are from different points in the GPU. The theory at the time was the ~3 was the memory controller portion.

According to Everest Temp 1 = GPU Temp/Disp IO, Temp 2 = MemIO and Temp 3 = Shader temp.

So is it normal for it to run that hot?

Mine are normally the same(ish) temperature.

If it's stable don't worry about it.
