i7 and i5 scores would be totally different against phenom 955. anyway this review is bit strange as theres diferent reviews that state q9550 and q9650 are faster then 955

Yup, I had an X3350 and that was the same as a Q9450; so yes the nomenclature follows.

actually in another review awhile back, it was discovered that Intel + ATI and AMD + Nvidia performed better than intel+nvidia and ati+amd

Really tempted to a 785G mobo and tricore or something as I don't really like this UD3R board.
