Guys just installed my new ASUS 6590's in CrossfireX. Flashed them with the modded ASUS BIOS (shaders unlocked, GPU voltage at 1.175V) atm I have the cards at 890MHz and 1300Mhz VRAM (5.2GHz effective) ran furmark with fans at 50oC and temps levelled out around the 100oC mark  after around 5 mins!
Is this normal? what is the safe max temp for these cards! They are very close together in my Stacker 830, on my X58 Extreme!
Any thoughts?

I've 2 in CrossfreX side by side with about 5mm between them!
Is 1.175V not the correct voltage for the 6970 with 1536 shaders at 880MHz?

im interested to know this to. just got mine today and have had to put them next to each other. obviously temps are a little toasty but what are these things rated to be ok at?

Ok used RBE to change the voltages to 1.125V for each of the cores!
Re-flashed, after 5min of furmark (fans at 60%) levels out at 78oC my settings are:
900Mhz core, 1375Mhz (5.5GHz effective) VRAM, superb cards!

mine only go up to mid 70s after hours of gaming but i have a silverstone ft02 and a space in between cards. Forgot to say that fan speed is only about 35%
