Hey Guys, Bought this card:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-052-HS

and i did all the nessesary things when installing it, uninstalled old cards drivers powered down, unplugged everything and replaced the card. When i power on, the screen just stays black and wont do anything.

I dont seem to have a bios speaker so im not sure if there are warnings but when i go to power down, one tap of the button and it turns off.

Can anyone shine any light on this? Kind of a bummer =/

Okay guys, I have tried the following:

Swapped my power supply out to a 500w one which i had laying around, but its an old one!

I removed the card and then went into the bios and set the default graphics to on board. But when i put the card in it just does the same thing. Cant see anything.

I even tried running the card on a power supply of its own. (The 500w one). Stil no joy, does exactly the same thing.

Done a serious amount of googling on this and some threads related it tot he PSU. But i did make sure the card was getting enough power by added a separate PSU.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using a different output such as HDMI instead of DVI? Maybe one of the display outputs on the new card isn't working.
