My PC BSOD's whenever flash either closes or opens in firefox. i.e. youtube videos.

This has started to become daily & incredibly annoying as i have to make sure all my programmes open with work are constantly all saved.

Events:
I'm on youtube, i click a video, it opens then my screen starts flickering on that specific screen only & PC eventually BSOD's.

Setup:
*Monitors connected via display ports.
*I have both flash & Adobe flash professional CS6 Installed
*Use Firefox
*GPU is not OC'ed & on auto fan.
*I own a HD7970 MSI Lightning

Seriously considering selling my 7970 & getting a 670 Gtx instead. I can't have my work been lost continuously every time my PC BSOD's.

PC Preforms perfectly in games & heavy usage applications, it's just flash.

You'r just assuming the cause of your issue is your graphics card and not software related?

Try the obvious: try a different browser, update/reinstall flash etc.

Ok.

I forgot to mention something which may be significent.

when i scroll down on a flash video on firefox, the application likes to freeze or lag from realtime temporarily(Usually at the start of videos). I checked my GPU usage it's at around 33-50% which for such a powerful piece of kit is quite strange.

Hmmm seems to resolved the problem by reinstalling flash.

Ran a few youtube videos scrolling up & down rapidly & recieved no lag from realtime at all.

Just been too busy to think of & implement a debug procedure myself.

Cheers Dave.

I hope thats fixed it.

I have similar issues with Firefox and flash but I've got a 7850. I managed to fix it by reinstalling the catalyst software and reinstalling Firefox and adobe. Not sure which one was at fault but its all good now.

Hope this helps.

Edit: don't worry :) glad you've fixed it:)
