Hey guys and girls,
Just to let you know, I received the accell active mini d.p cable today:

It worked instantly, the only issue was with the AMD 13.8 catalyst as it does not support 4k as yet with frame pacing.
AFter a few tweaks and some slight downgrades in gaming settings I got Crysis 3, need for speed most wanted and Far cry 3 working well on my Sony 4KTV
As far as I know this is one of the only adaptors that will enable 4k with GPU's such as the HD7990 where no direct HDMI is available. and is the only 4k adaptor approved by AMD.
I could not get hold of it in the UK so had it shipped from the states via a friend.
Of course, it only hits 30hz (the maximum for a 1.4 HDMI connection).
Will have to wait for a hdmi 2.0 / d.p adaptor for 60hz compatibility.
This adaptor also carries the sound too!!
And you really notice a difference playing upscaled 1080p too.
