Hi All

I am building a new pc using an ASUS Prime B450M-K in a Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-05 Mid-Tower Gaming Case/Chassis. It has thrown up a couple of issues due to lack of manual info.

I think I know where the HD board connection is but there are two pins behind the location making it difficult to locate lead.

The other query is does the CHA Fan connection support four fans.

I am guessing on here there would be someone who is up to speed on this board.

PS Been five years since I built my last pc and I am well pass my sell by date at 77 hence the stupid questions.

All help gratefully received, Thanks

With Four fans to one fan header, you'd probably need a splitter that takes power from the PSU via a sata or molex connector.

HD Audio header is probably in the bottom left. You could get an extension cable if it's hard to route the cable to the header.

I have sorted all the problems purchased a fan splitter all working ok, HD power supply sorted.

I boot up and get to the stage where you press enter or F1 to enter the bios and nothing happens.

I removed the battery for 10 minutes and replaced same result.

Pressed button on motherboard still nothing.

It is showing Mem 32

USB 0 Drive 1 Keyboard ! Mouse 0 HUB

Detected ATA/ATAPI Devices

I have tried with USB DVD drive using Prime B450 series disk and the ASUS BD Suit disk but still the same.

Once again very grateful for any advise
