If your someone who always puts disks away after using them then its not a problem, if your very lazy like me, then you wont do that, and its annoying.
I think you can turn that off in the system menu mate, I havent got the HD module for my 360, but everytime I left a game disc in the tray, turned on my 360, it launches the game, really done my head in, so I disabled it in the system options
