HD DVD on a Macbook Pro

Right guys after reading the other thread about HD on a Mac I thought I would give it a try, I got it running on my 15" Mac book Pro 2.33 Via the Xbox 360 drive and it looks stunning. Its only running in XP under boot camp but it gives you a idea what it would look like if Apple shipped it with a blueray/HD DVD drive

No luck with leopard yet as no software.

no not working OSX yet

The third screen is Goblet of Fire

Boot Camp doesn't exactly count

Tried getting it working under Parallels/VMWare?

Apple is a supporter of Bluray so you are unlikley to see a HD DVD drive in a mac book any time soon.

It would be a good idea to include a Blu-ray DVD player. I bet it would help sell the laptop.

Currently in Sony laptops at 800 or 900 pounds.

I know but this is the company still selling optical drives that don't write DVDs. We live in hope though.
