HD-DVD playback software

Anyone know if there's some software that will play back HD-DVDs in OS X?

Wouldn't there need to be a compatiable drive first?

Not sure if a ripped version of a disc would require any special software so if it's that, then I do apologise.

XBox 360 drive. Picks it up OK and can explore the filing system. Plays normal DVD's just fine.

Apple's bog standard DVD Player can play HD-DVDs well ones authored by DVD Studio Pro anyway.

That's all it can play.

There are no HD DVD or Blu-Ray Movie playback solutions for Mac OS X.

Bootcamping into Windows is the only solution, for now.
