HD LED Light Antec 900??

Should there be a HD LED light on the Antec 900 Gaming Case, i quite sure i plugged a cable labled HD LED into my mobo, but cant see no HD led on the outside of the case??

Is the wire plugged in the correct way round?

Also, does it matter, the 900 glows like a blue fire anyway.

Yes there is a blue HD Led light on the Antec 900 at the top. Make sure 100% you have it connected it properly.

It's tiny and hard to spot when not lit up, right in between the reset button and the headphone socket at the top.

I was surprised Antec did not include a power led there too, seems a bit tight of them!

The Hdd led lights up the ceiling though when it flashes

Er, do you really need a power LED, it's not like you're not going to know it's on or anything.

Indeed - not in need of a power LED. I do have couple other niggles with the case though;

The leads that you connect to your mobo for the HDD,RS,PWR etc arent long enough - if you're trying to tidy the cables up a bit there's nowt you can do but run them in a straight line to your mobo.

The reset button is too small - have to dig in with my index finger or use the pinky.

Other than that, I like it.

would have been nice it they mounted a switch on the outside of the case that you could control the fan speed with

This seems to be turning into a general plus/minus fest...

As I was setting up my Antec 900, I too was worried about the lack of a power LED....no longer.

I found the cables from the top USB/Firewire/sound ports were long enough, but because of the position of the PSU, I did/do have a problem with the routing of the ATX power connector (i.e. straight line from PSU to the ATX power socket on the MB

Cable routing in general seems to be quite problematic, but I've seen a good example on these boards of a mod to make that easier.

Also concur on the fan-speed switching. Is a pain to have to remove the case cover to change the fan speed.

The little area with the rubber mat on top of the case is just right for change/iPod/case screws/usb sticks etc. though the temptation to put a can of drink down on it... and so close to the massive opening behind it is a little much
