HD on a 3007

i have a dell 3007 which i got for multi reason, one of them being watch HD movies (bluray) using cyberlinkdvd software.

only after getting it did i find out to watch bluray legaly i had to turn the res down from 2560*1600 to 1280*800 before the hdcp would work,
now i think i remember that this was a fauly with the 8800ultra card i had, not the monitor and iam wondering if i upgrade to one of the new 4870 cards can i watc bluray with out having to turn the res on the monitor down

Yes this is an 8800 fault. you can indeed watch hd or blu ray @ native res with a 4850 im assuming a 4870 will do the same
