HD PVR 2 Recording Software

I've the HD PVR 2, but the software that came with it Arcsoft ShowBiz has a three second delay between the recording and the TV, is there any others recording software that works for HD PVR 2 without any delay?

Don't think so, my original HD PVR is the same but it doesn't affect what you recorded.

What's the best format to record in for the best quality?

I keep mine on the Playstation 3 settings and 1080p. You can clean it up and that then in Sony Vegas if you got it.
