HD question.

Just a quick one.

Ive just bought a nice new LG monitor which is capable of displaying full HD. I was just wondering, would i get better pic quality via HDMI or the DVI-D plugs ? or isnt there any difference ?

No difference. The Video signal carried by HDMI is the same as that of DVI.

Only differences is HDMI carries audio to.

If you've got windows running a res >= 1920x1080 then you can run HD video

So look in the display properties.

Most 24" monitors run at 1920x1200, but you do have the new breed that run at 1920x1080.

And finally, whats the best media player for playback of HD video, are there any special codecs i have to install etc ?
