I’ve got a corner of my office set up with a 12 year old Logik something something 24” TV that was £150 and is 1080p 60Hz and has a couple of HDMI, scart component VGA and composite. This is very useful as I hook up my PS2, Dreamcast, project PC, PS3 and xboz360 to it in various combinations but not all at the same time. However Image quality and sound quality is pretty crap, and it doesn’t recognise some PC inputs over HDMI (I use it for project PC stuff too).
I’m looking to replace it with a new cheapo TV 24” to 32” and I am amazed that you can still buy 720p TVs (at 50Hz no less) in 2024. Some with HDR support lol. However they sound pretty useful for my needs, ie hooking up 720p consoles and composite PS2 (sadly can’t find any scart or component TVs)
So Is the image quality on these cheapo 720p TVs going to be beyond terrible? I am assuming it is better than my 12 year old TV. I don’t mind 720p for the project PC stuff.
