Hey all

I've seen a few videos on YouTube which are in HD quality and it appears they use low depth of field on their videos which I personally like the effect of.

I've done a Google, but I can't find what type of cameras these are? I'm not sure if its the traditional HD video recorders or something more costly?

Quite a n00b when it comes to HD Video, so if anyone could put some input in that would be appreciated.

Thanks:cool:

Thanks.

So video recording with a dSLR I could use the auto focus (as a normal camera would do) and zoom back and forth and I could then switch to manual focus and select the point of interest to be in focus?

Would say a 1100D be better than a dedicated HD camcorder? Or is a hd camcorder better just few allow the flexibility of the lenses?

I've looked at some videos and they look a bit sluggish on YT with the 1000d is it me or it doesnt look like it 'flows' much?
