HD2 SD card not working after failed format.

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help me with a problem im having.

I have an htc hd2 and for a while now I've been using android builds daily.

Anyway I was formatting the card a few weeks back and suddenly remembered I hadn't backed up some pics so like an idiot I pulled it mid process.

Since that the card works fine as far as I can see but everytime I try to run the android files it says it failed to mount the card.

Are there any good programs I can run to see if the card is ok?

copy everything off it, and format it properly, then copy everything back?

I had this with my 8GB card and HD2 too. Couldn't find a solution, even tried a full windows format like yourself and in the end just binned it and put the standard 2GB card in instead.

Ah damn thats not what I wanted to hear. I don't want to have to buy a new 16gb card.

Actually I never thought to use my old 2gb temporarily. It's been horrible just using the chuckydroid rom as I couldn't be bothered to reflash windows.

I had the same thing with a recent 4gb card, its basically stuck in read only as far as I can tell. Can't do anything with it

, can't even dd /dev/zero to the bugger!
