Ok WM is doing my head in i have to soft reboot most days and it hangs so much its unreal.

So who has put android on and which one and how easy was it?

I think most HD2 owners have moved to either Android or Win7 by now and left Winmo long behind.

I have not bothered with Win7, most people seem to be currently running NAND Android builds as opposed to the older method of running it off your SD card. Just head over to the XDA forums, read up a little about it, choose a build and follow one of the guides to install.

Personally I still run Android off my SD card as I prefer the flexibility, I use it pretty much 24/7 but do also still use Winmo on occasion - btw are you running a custom Winmo rom or stock?

no all stock its a factory phone so not had the need but its got worse over time, and android is the way ahead i'm sure.

I'm using tytungs Gingerbread 2.3.3 on my HD2 its a NAND flash rom and its superb.

Its really easy to do but make sure you do some extensive reading on the XDA Dev forums about Radios, MAGDLR and Clockwork Mod before attempting any flash.

I use Android on my HD2. It's awesome.

Edit - Just updated to a Gingerbread NAND build :) No more SD stuff for me. Don't touch WinMo at all anymore.
