Well since the x1950pro Dual was posted I thought Id look up the reviews and stumbled across this. Its by GeCube and by the same means they have taken 2 HD2600XT's stuck them together to make a waste of space :) They have already done this with the x1650xt series so god knows how this turned out to be a good idea :D

Two pretty poor graphics cards stuck together :) Maybe there will be some decent performance after that lol!

Looks cool. Is it just me or does the pic show the card with a riser with another two graphics sockets?

Gaming performance might be lacking but it would be awesome if you could plug 4 monitors into it!

These people know how to produce products for the ignorant masses, I'll give them that.

I can see it now: "OBLITERATE your competition with TWICE THE POWER. DUAL video cards give you double the power of your enemies! BLOW them away with lightning fast speed!"

Tee hee.

Hurah for people with more money than sense.

Now call me cynical, but someone take a look at the large image of the GeCube card posted on *****.net (I know why that word is starred ;)), and tell me that the PCIe connector isn't photoshopped on.

That board looks like a fake to me.

Not even if you changed the *'s to h e x u s, worked for me, but what an absolute waste of time doing a dual 2600.

Why is it a waste? Imo would be a nice stop gap if you want performance between a 8800gts and a 1950xt, crossfire doesnt work bad like sli, it works ok in most of the cases doesn't it?

Whats so bad about *****?.

Ocuk just doesnt seem to like hexu s, I have no idea why, really odd ocuk stars out words like u r and te h and xxxxx.net (ive starred it out due to person below me warning me) and ft w , while swearies arn't, ie. you can type the f word with -ing behind it and it wont be starred out ( I know cos ive been banned for a week a year ago :P for it) , odd though ocuk for starring out normall stuff while allowing swearies and banning users instead if they swear without noticing ( when i got suspended for a week, I actually thought I had no more swearies left in my post, I just didnt find any, for me it's something I don't notice at all, I just read over swearies)

The reason *****.net is starred out spans back a LONG time ago in the forums history, where Spie ad the now runer of ***** had a rather large falling out. I'm not going into details so don't ask.

All I would say is don't get around the filter by spacing the word out, as its frowned upon in the same way swearing is around these parts.

I doubt a dual HD2600xt wil be anywhere near the performance in between a X1950XT or a 8800GTS and herein lies the problem. It will no doubt be quite expensive for what it is (around £130-150 judging by the price of a single HD2600xt) so do you buy that or spend £30 extra on a 8800GTS or save around £30 and get a X1950XT.

Exactly mate, they wont be near the GTS! These cards are nowhere near the x1950pro which has a dual card which can beat the GTS in some cases. This hd2600xt dual wont, thats that im afraid.

Its a waste of time, if it was a decent mid range card then yes great but its not. Unfortunately for the x1950pro dual card it came way too late with the tech being of the old nature. We know DX10 aint about...yet but it IS the the future regardless.

The next gen of midrange from NV or AMD will be much better candidates for this technology I am pretty sure! THe increased mem bus and not so crippled performance would see these DX10 variants being an ideal step forward
