HD2600Xt Gives me a Blank Screen!

Hi all,

I just bought a sapphire hd2600xt 512MB ddr3 Pci to replace (gpu per gpu) my old x800xl.

Problem is my pc gets to the window xp loading then all i get is a blank screen. All fans are spinning and the HDD light is blinking.

I've read it could be a PSU power or Mobo compatibility. ?

I took it off and just put my old car back which loaded just fine.

I havent updated to the latest drivers yet but i still want to know if anybody else has had this problem and what might be the solution.
