hd2900xt 1gig ddr4 to 8800gts should i be happy ?

Well basically bought 8800gts to change mine 2900 and is there like much improvement and i notice any difference ? or i just should be happy that my electricity bills will go down ?

No offence Psyhcas but I think you are making far too many posts about nearly the same subject. Think about and try to ask a question that will answer all angles of the choices that are floating around in there as it makes it much easier to give you advice if you wrap it up all in one bundle .

Oops . My bad for not even taking the time to read that you had bought one. Sorry Psychas. I need to read posts fully .

Yes. You will see a great boost from the upgrade. The 1gig 2900XT is just a few FPS faster than my 2900Pro if overclocked to the same clocks and the GT/GTS and GTX are all a bit better than the 2900's with the GT being the closest competitor.

No offence Psychas but I find it funny now you are wanting to go from an HD2900XT to an 8800GTS 512 which is essentially GTX performance and you used to be saying how the HD2900XT is going to beat a GTX lol when it did not.

But, yes you will be happy, I'm happy going from a HD2900XT 512mb to an 8800GT so going from a HD2900XT 1GB to a GTS 512mb you'll be very happy.
