I've just brought a sapphire Hd3650 to replace my old Nvidia 6800GS and I'm having loads of trouble getting to work right, I've used driver cleaner to get rid of the nvidia drivers and I install the 8.3 CAT driver. I'm getting inconsistant FPS in my games for example, Armed assualt is getting about 40FPS but Falcon Allied force is only getting 25FPS, and before on my old card I was getting 40+ FPS in Falcon allied force and about 10 FPS in Armed assualt? Is this a matter of a porked install that requires a format? please some one help!

Could be, sometimes it's unfortunate. I had to re-install windows going from a 2900XT to a 3870X2, plus it's usually faster than trouble shooting the problem. :)

using nlite and my data and games on a seperate partition, I can completely reinstall windows, all my apps, all settings and games like Steam within 2 hours... Quicker than waiting for a responce on here sometimes!
