I use the hdmi connection for my monitor which carries sound as well. So far I have experienced 3 problems with it.
1. When I put my computer to sleep, and then wake it up, the sound stops working and control panel shows the ATI audio as 'not plugged in'. The only way to fix that is to reboot my computer
2. Sometimes when I turn on my computer, there is no display at all. My monitor led changes colour from standby to on colour but nothing shows on screen. So its receiving some sort of signal but not the correct one. Again the only way to solve that is by rebooting my pc
3. This is only happened once so far: My monitor started flickering horribly, then goes blank for a few secs then comes back on flickering again, in that continuous loop. The way I solved that was by connecting another monitor (vga) and extending my desktop.
I have no idea what could be wrong, suggestions please?
