HD4870...should i go CROSSFIRE?

Hi!
I've noticed that Hd4870 (mine Club 3D O/C Edition) is not powerful enough for newer games (Mirrors Edge, LoTR,..) to run on Maximu/Ultra high!

Will Crossfire increase performance?
is it worth to go CF?

I have Asus P5Q-E, E8500!19" but will upgrade soon as.. Maybe to 22", but (80% that to ) 24"

ALSO... My Benchamrk Results (3D Mark 06) getting Lower and lower on same settings! ("i know Benchies not that important, but still)

Maybe a need good patches or updates for game?

today started to play MoE, uh, it's so not smooth! and my HD4870 is 800/950

My Vista Ultimate (64bit) is about 4 months old!
Also i did some CPU O/C befo E8500 to 4.8ghz-4ghz!

I run 8.12 Driver!I do not O/C Gpu, usually it is on stock!
Did Try menu different setting in CCC, even everything on Performance!

mh,..maybe someone can advise me a link for Mirrors patches, updates?

but, still, benchmark getting lower!

exactly, i was a bit confused, cuz Mirror did install Latest NVidia physics too!

uh, dunno what happened but...
I run TUNE UP UTILITIES!
restarted my pc, and mirror of Edga now on high setting with x2aa.. strange
