okay then i've just upgraded my 4870 to a X2 and iam having nothing but problems with it so here goes

how it was set up with 4870

CCC v10.9 with ati tray tools which i could set to profiles one for 2d and one for 3d clocks and i made some fan profiles for both and i would just switch between the depending on what i was doing

how it is with the X2

some times the second core wont go to 3'd clocks or the memory clocks or both i have installed CCC v10.5 as this is ment to help get both cores working but every time it try and use ari tray tools it set the fan to 100% on start up and also i've got no profiles in my overclocking section so i cant save the settings and swap between and it wont allow me to make any either nd there isnt no fan profiles just manual or auto and the auto on the fan is shocking allowing it to go over 90 degrees

please any one as iam at a total lose end with it

sorted it if any one stubbles across this thread looking for a answer in the same problem as me

when using ati tray tools in the overclocking section you need to make sure the Include clocks in profile is ticked in order to make a profile for your 3d and 2d clocks
