Guys,

I have 2 HD4890 in crossfire (the Asus voltage tweak model) and just wanted to confirm if overclocking these cards are this easy?

I have them both on liquid and I have simply gone into the ATI Catalyst Driver and setup a profile and set the ATI overclock tool to 950mhz for the core clock and 1000mhz for the Memory and then set it so that each time the pc boots up it runs the cards at those speeds.

So far ran cod4 for 5 mins and arma II for a few mins and ran 3dmark06 and completed ok so is that it? or is there something else I should use to stress the cards??

I have not even touched the voltage by using asus smartdoctor and maybe I could push it even more?

My temps for both cards at the moment on load is around 45c for both.

My water cooling setup is as follows (if interested):-

Pump/res --> 2nd Pump --> Double Rad --> O/C Cpu i7 (4.0ghz) --> Triple Rad --> 1st HD4890 --> 2nd HD4890 --> Pump/res

My Radiators are Black Ice GT and my pumps are the Laing DDC 1+ Ultra 18W (one with a xspc top)

Thats pretty much it. You can loop 3dmark or run furmark for about 20 mins to confirm that they are fully stable

All tests though such as OCCT, ATITool and Furmark are about the same, just stressing the card to the max.

Sometimes though the biggest test is just trying games, can pass using those but fail or artifact in certain games.

I found CSS (even though its not even graphical) could crash my system when pushing the gfx too hard and a mate of mine found GRID to be the test for his (a certain track as well)
