Hey all. I got around £150 to spend and would like opinions for an upgrade from a hd5770 please.

I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Socket AM3+ motherboard.

AMD FX-6 6100 Black Edition 6 Core 3.3Ghz Socket AM3+

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866Mhz Memory

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular PSU Single 12V Rail

5 free games which you can sell for at least £25. Your CPU will probably be a bottleneck, and some games will still feel choppy, but better to have a better card than a weak one for almost the same price.

Probably not, but not like it'd be worse than a 7850 which is the alternative he was looking at. Only needs to upgrade his cpu then.

Does the 7870 come with those 5 free games? Thought it was only the 79xx cards. If not, the 7870 might be the better option.

At least then he's prepared for when he upgrades the cpu, so long as it's not too far down the line.
