HD5850 drivers?

If your using windows 7 x64 (as you'v linked too) then get the first one.

The only difference, is the first one is the new Catalyst Control Center which they are testing (but will use the same display driver) whilst the second link, is the older style catalyst control center which again will still use the same display driver.

Before you ask what is the catalyst control center, it is just an application that allows you to custimes certain setting for your video card.

Me on the other hand, i just keep it simple and ONLY download the display drivers seperatly from here:

ok thank you first time i have use ATI (soon to be just amd) so i am used to nvidias, click searches your pc finds parts installs drivers for you

I recall reading that AMD has changed the graphic quality to just "Quality" instead of highest quality by default after 10.10 driver...is that only to do with CCC, and using the driver alone will not be affected by that?

I should receive my MSI 5850 Twin FrozeR today, so just want to make sure I get the driver right. I should download just the 10.12 driver and forget the CCC if I don't want to run into problems right?
