Bought it way back when they first came out and lately I've noticed that the blower(I HATE these things so much) has been getting pretty loud so I take a look at the temperature and...

Playing games it shoots up to 90c within a few seconds and slowly rises over 90 before I shutdown whatever I'm playing and right now it's idle is 60c fan is blowing away at 40% speed.

What's the best way to go about cleaning this? I'll admit I've only attacked it with some compressed air but never really thought about the insides.
Also can I lube up the blower by any chance? The noise of it has always been loud but it's getting worse?

Just take it apart, clean off whatever is left of the old paste, reapply - whilst you're at it, take out/wipe off all the dust that's inevitably built up.

Should only be a handful of screws on the pcb, lifts off from there.
