HD5870 and Steam Game Issues

Hi, I am having problems with my new system running Windows 7 with hd 5870, several of my Steam games are running at 50hz unless I run windows mode then in runs 60hz.

I have tried pressing alt and enter until it goes to 60hz but it always stay 50hz in full screen - games this affects are Company of heroes and Crysis, TF2 was ok.

I have tried forcing 60hz in the CCC and adding NTSC 60hz as a display but still no joy. Can anyone help with this?
 
Crysis /crysis wars seems to always choose the lowest refresh rate as default (:rolleyes: to EA/Crytek)

My Crysis (boxed version) and crysis wars (steam version) both always chooses the 24hz refresh rate on my plasma :mad:

Thanks for the reply, where you able to fix it? I was going to buy the game from ea store but after what you said I won't
