HD5870 vs GTX 670

Hi guys,

I've been selecting components for my new i5 3570K build. I have an XFX HD5870 that I was going to re-use. However, I am now thinkiing of selling it and buying a GTX 670.

Is this a good thing to do, i.e. will there be a big (noticeable) performance jump?

It seems the new GTX 670 is getting excellent reviews.

The 670 is what I would go for.

Almost the same performance as the best single GPU.

Cant go wrong

My display's native res is 1920 x 1080. I run games at this too.

£80-£110 at a guess, warranty etc... dependant. The 670 would be a huge gain over the 5870, the windforce/kfa2 EX/DCUII all pretty much offer near 680 performance out of the box, a little overclock and they easily pass a stock 680, even matching/beating SLI 570/CF6950 performance

5870 here plays evrything at 1920x1080

wait five months till the gtx 660 comes out,gtx 670 is great card but to expensive imo

what about a 7850 and oc it??
