Just wondered what the max safe temp is for the HD6850? mine hit 72 degrees last night, and whilst it's not the temp that immediately causes me concern it's the noise of the crappy little fan that tries to cool it.

Is it overkill to put an after market GPU cooler on an entry level gfx card? It would be more for noise reasons than anything else.

Any suggestions?
