Hi guys,

Just taken delivery of a Asus DirectCU II HD6970 and am about to give it an overclock test run.

Realistically, what would be considered to be a safe Vcore to push on these cards? I'm thinking more for 24/7 stability/usage as opposed to reaching the cards absolute limit.

Thanks
Aaron

Don't push it up by much, that is all I can give you on these cards. Asus cards are usually pretty good at handling voltage increases, but push it too far and you could damage or fry the card.
