Can anyone shed some light please? I was recently playing Shadows of Mordor about two hours and I went to a menu screen and came back and the frame rate dropped severly. I quit the game and went back in with everything fine again. Then a bit later I used the desktop for general browsing when intermittently the screen went all fuzzy and coloured - no distinct patterns like I would normally expect from a graphic card issue. It then reverted back to being OK. Then again it did it and this time it stayed that way until I did a warm reset and the BIOS kicked in. I went back to usual defaults and went back into windows. I've been overclocking my GPU to 1050 mhz and memory to 1225mhz with maximum GPU temp of below 70 degrees. I also run a small second monitor however this remained OK while my main screen corrupted. I'm currently in 30 minutes since I reset and there's been no recurrence. I even ran furmark in the background but no artefacts etc. I wouldn't have thought my overclock of the card would be of any concern in desktop as the card usually drops in speed. Anyone else have this kind of thing happen before?

Just test, removing you're OC.

See if you have issues then. It may be its only unstable after certain amounts of time or certain actions ect... Worth a go. :)

Or maybe its a PSU issue, got a spare you can try?

Thanks for the advice - I'll try at stock for a time and see what happens.

Hope it isn't my PSU - it's a couple of years old but PC not always on.
