HD7870 safe voltages?

Hi there.

I currently have my wf 7870 at 1200mhz. It's the highest stable I can get on stock volts.

Previously, on my fermi card, I remember it was safe to set the highest voltage available, so long as the temps are fine.

Stock votlage on my card is about 1.22v. Would I be risking the card if I set the volts all the way to 1.3? I searched on Google but no one seems to be sure.

For 24/7 use i would say 1.25 to 1.26v max.

I have no data to base that on, it just seems sensible to me.
 
Just read a couple of reviews on the 7870's, this usually includes overclocking, check them out this will give you some idea on settings, volts, etc.
 
thanks. a few other people stated around 1.25. I'm going to limit myself to 1.265 cos of good temps

currently at 1.25, 1270mhz is stable. gonna go further later today

hoping to hit 1300

What are you using to test stability?

was actually 1260mhz. just tried 1.262v, 1270mhz is the highest i can get. artifacting occurs when i go further. quite satisfied:D scored 1675 in heaven
