Hi...I buy MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr V2/OC - 3 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 3.0 (R7950 TWIN FROZR 3GD5 V2/OC) but vhen i play game card is too noice and has coil whine... I have waterblock for reference hd 7970 ..
So Im looking best overclocked card with unlocked voltage hd 7950 with reference board 7970...
Any sugestions will be apreciated...
 
take off the diode mentioned in other threads stops the noise you are on about and boom works like a treat. This saving yourself money.
Its diode 21 if i remember.

Put the waterblock on it then :). The V2 OC had problems with cooler contact with the GPU (paste and other issues). With a waterblock on it should be fine.

Im already have waterblock on card...problem is coil whine...
I have 15 days return..so i will send card back..
Just looking another brands hd 7950 with reference board 7970..because I have waterblock 7970.
 
get a cheap 7970 then.
search around you can get a 7970 for £300 some places only a little more than what you will pay for the 7950 with the reference board

I dont use stock cooler but waterblock..so diode is not problem but coil whine.
 
Sapphire 950mhz Edition...where I can buy this card..i read its voltage unlocked and reference board 7970

i had one of those from a company was an awesome card close to my msi but a better cooler and a great clocker, paid £190 for it too. then sold it to get this. DO'h
