Hi, I tried to flash the bios to the GHz edition as comments suggest you can get higher clocks and unlock voltage and just thought might aswell try and get some extra juice out of this thing whilst I have it.

I used Rufus to create a FreeDOS bootable USB with ATiflash on it and following the instruction, now when I initially flashed it, it said something like already programmed, when I did as the instructions suggested and added -f, it forced the flash, however the screen won't come on at all now, not sure what's gone wrong? The card is still fine since I'm using the second bios on the card.

Any idea on how to flash the bios properly or if I should use a different method?

Thanks

What card do you have and what BIOS were you using?

The 7970s overclocked like absolute beasts, I'm not sure there is much to be had with the ghz BIOS unless running at stock? Hawaii you could have a lot of fun with the BIOS, but I cant remember there being much use changing BIOS with Tahiti?
