Hi

My HD7970 is running way to hot in idle stance.
It hovers around 55 degrees in 2D with 0% activity on the gpu.
It seems the clocks are stuck at 500/1375 and wont go lower.
I recently triede 12.11, but went back to 12.10 but the problem is still here.
Any ideas where the bug is?

Its a known bug with the current 12.10 WHQL and 12.11 Beta drivers. AMD is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

In the meantime i have come up with a temporary fix that is as easy as pressing Alt+F5 to trigger the normal low idle stance.
