HD7970 windowboxing in some games

My 7970 seems to be windowboxing some of my games when running at 1920x1080 on a 24" 1080 monitor.

My desktop is fine, the majority of my games work fine, but theres a few (such as Payday 2) that are being windowboxed and I don't know why.

Can anyone help?

I have all drivers up-to-date.

@ the OP, I remember this happening to someone else and he cured it by reinstalling drivers iirc.

I was having this problem in a few of my games, BF4 included, After installing drivers multiple times & nuking the whole thing via a clean OS install & still having the problem I decided to do what I should have done in the first place.

I checked at what software was running in my taskbar & found that Samsung Magician was causing the problem, It's worth checking if you use the same software or if any other type of running program you have installed is conflicting.
