I know some manufacturers have started making HDCP-capable GPU's, Sapphire for example. However, these seem to be lower end.

Does anyone make a HDCP-capable higher-end card (7900, 7800, x1800 or X1900 or similar) yet?

Also, controvercial maybe, but.... 7900GT or X1800XT? Both are similarly priced. Does the 7900GT have PureVideo?

I dont believe there are any high end HDCP cards as of yet, and yes I was just reading yesterday about the Sapphire 1600 HDCP cards due soon

I believe 7900 does have pure video capability but check with someone who has one

Shocking that they *still* aren't on top of this HDCP thing! Oh well.
Nice to hear it has PureVideo though. I use my machine mainly for video (I do game sometimes though, hence my need for a decent card), and PureVideo seems a tad better than AVIVO in my opinion.

Gonna be putting together a new machine for myself in August, don't wanna spent too much on a video card when more are around the corner, but I want something to tide me over. 7900GT seems to make sense, though I'll xsee what the GTX prices are in August.
