Hey guys

A while back I was deciding whether or not to buy the Dell 2408 but decided against it due to a fair amount of negative reviews. Been looking since and have found this that Im quite interested in;

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...tor with Freeview/Digital TV Tuner - Rose Red

It's a bit more money than I was expecting but it has 2x hdmi ports and a tv tuner built in so it's ok. I was wondering could it run my pc (DVI), 360 (HDMI) and PS3 (HDMI)? I know the ps3 has trouble and needs HDCP compliant monitor- does the sammy support hdcp? If it doesnt does anyone know of a 22-26 inch monitor in around the same price point (or less :P) that will run dvi/2x hdmi and support hdcp?

Thanks in advance :)

Well, the 2408 you were looking at is a S-PVA screen, the Sammy you've linked is a TN, and a 26" one to boot. Be prepared for horrible viewing angles, especially if you are thinking of using it as a telly.

HP LP2475 or the new Philips H-IPS would be your best bet, or picking up a refurb Dell 2407 (don't know if OcUK still do them).

Thanks for that- I didnt even realise.

I still like the look of the 2408- its just the talk of lag/being difficult to config it correctly is making me a bit wary of it. Does anyone know what kind of returns policy ocuk/dell have- ie if the lag is too much can I just say "i dont like it" and buy another monitor? Or is there anywhere, like a real shop, that I might be able to test the monitor out?

Currently running a 2407 and its perfect- just id like a dual monitor set up (I use 3ds max, photoshop, etc a lot) and Id like something that would run 360, ps3 and pc games fine.

Would anybody recommend a 2407/2408, a tv card and a hdfury?

Cheers
