I have a View 71glass case which is water-cooled so all my drive bays have been removed.
I need a HDD to store all my games.
Where do you recommend I put it?
I did look at usb hdds but I'm really unsure.

Thank you.
Mainly it for a sim to save all the files.
I need about 4tb minimum.
I haven't bought a HDD yet as I'm using my M.2.

Exactly what you said. I need the drive to hide around the back.

I'll check out the link.

That case has mounting points at the rear of the motherboard tray. (you can fit either 3 x HDDs or 6 x SSDs)

Just use these positions and connect to motherboard and PSU as normal, no need for USB adaptors.

I am not sure how quiet the HDD will be using these points will be though and recommend keeping an eye on HDD temps. (SSDs should be fine)

Do you have SSD mounts?

I just bought a 5tb seagate thats 2.5”. Not cheap, and a bit taller than a regular SSD, but it does the job and it’s nice and quiet.

I needed it for backups rather than games though, I use a 512Gb SSD for games.

The rear of the motherboard is taken up my 2 x commander pros and 2 ssd.
Could I just rest a hdd on the case floor under a shroud? Or does the hdd ned securing?
Thanks.

Any chance you could post a couple of photos of the case so we can see what space you have to work with?

You could mount the HDD where you have the SSDs and move them to another position using Velcro to attach them to the case.
