Hi all

First post and its a request for some help, sorry

Trying to id which type of adapters I need in order to install some hdd's into this type of enclosure

I picked up this case for next to nothing, apparently the pc it used to host was nowt to shout about, but the case was the best bit, but what bits will be needed to make use of the hdd bay?

This is already in action housing my home server, which consists of;

Abit KV7 mobo
AMD 3200+ CPU
3 gig of DDR 266 RAM
GeForce 2 graphics card
1 x 40 gig boot hdd
2 x buffalo 500gig USB RAID Arrays
Windows server 2003 OS

So nothing earth shattering, but enough for my needs :)

My main pc's specs are;

Q6600 OC'd at 2.8gig
Asus P5KPL-AM mobo - really looking for an SLi mATX but they are quite rare!
4gig PC2-5300 ram
GTS450 graphics card
And a couple of hdd's
Windows 7 Ultimate/Ubunto os's

Thanks

There are 2 bits of "Rails" that fits to the sides of the HDDs!
Then you can push the HDDs inside and pull out using those rails.

That's what I was thinking, seem to remember those type of things from many years ago, but, which ones?

Searching has brought up various types, but the most promising ones are green coloured and from Dell, but I do not want to waste money buying the wrong ones each time...

Hoping that that type of drive bay is widespread and someone has fitted it out and can id the part :)

The case used to house a PB ipower 7650, and was also very similar to one used by Mesh.

No idea on the actual case maker though, as ever, the 'generic' ones are nameless.
